The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is milled.

The coin is devoted to 70-year anniversary of the plane Supermarin Spitfayr. It is the English fighter of times of World War II. Spitfayr is considered one of the best fighters II of World War.

The Obverse: relief image of a portrait of Her Majesty of Queen Elizabeth II. Around inscriptions - QUEEN ELIZABETH II FALKLAND ISLANDS, year of issue - 2008.

The Reverse: to the center the relief image of the two military planes of fighters Spitfayr conducting fighting battle in the sky. Inscription - THE SPITFIRE. The down  value - 1 CROWN.
