Description

Coin is round in shape, with front and back sides - raised rim on.  

The Obverse: to the center portrait of the Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions along the rim - ELIZABETH II COOK ISLANDS, the down – 2014.

The Reverse: to the center coin is adorned with an inner core of genuine Mother of Pearl. The coin depicts the Nautilus passing by a giant octopus. The Nautilus is the fictional submarine captained by Nemo featured in Jules Verne's world famous novel "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea".
