Description: The coins are round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse.

The obverse: in the center — the image of the Sun and the Moon within the band of 12 signs of the zodiac, beneath — the astrological sign of Pisces, and inscriptions: CANCER in Latin and РАК in Belarusian; at the top — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; at the bottom — the year of issue on the left; circumferential inscriptions: at the top — РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom — 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE).

The reverse: the stylized image of Cancer within the circular geometrical ornament.
