Description

The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is reeded.

The obverse has: at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – an arrangement of clock parts and the images of the Sun and the Moon, where the center of the clock mechanism is inlaid with a synthetic crystal; on the right side – the year of issue; on the left side – the alloy standard; at the bottom – the denomination: 20 РУБЛЁЎ (20 RUBLES); and at the top – a circumferential inscription: РЭСПУБЛІКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS).
Along the inner circle the years 2013-2024 are ordered, the number of years representing a cycle of the Chinese lunar calendar. Some clock parts and the year of the snake, 2013, are plated with gold.

The reverse has: in the center – the image of a coiled snake surrounded by the stars and ornamental patterns. In the center of the coil a gold-plated Chinese ideogram used to signify the snake is shown.
