Series "Children's Literature".
The coin is devoted to the fairy tale "Hero Janos" (1844) which author is the national poet of Hungary Shandor Petyofi.
The coin is devoted to the poem of the outstanding Hungarian poet Janos Aran "Toldi" (1846). Toldi Miklosh — the young man of a noble origin endowed with remarkable physical force became a prototype of the character of the poem — works shoulder to shoulder with workers in the family estate. But, having quarreled with the brother Dyordem, he decides to leave a home, dreaming of life of the knight. He is the real national hero of times of the king Lyudoviga.
The coin is round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is plain.
The Obverse: to the center the relief image of the 200 Forint, the down year of issue - 2001, to the top inscriptions - MAGYAR KOZTÁRSASÁG.
The Reverse: to the center the relief image of the Toldi in the knightly armor, leaning one foot on the boat. The inscriptions on hungarian - ARANY JANOS: TOLDI.
