The coins are round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. Surface of the coins is oxidized.
The obverse: within the circular geometric ornament – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – a solar sign consisting of octagonal geometrical figure with elements of rhombic decor, symbolizing solar rays; beneath – year of issue, inscriptions along the rim – at the top "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom "АД3IН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE).
The reverse: in the center — the relief image of the honeycomb, an apple tree (the silver coin is inlaid with a synthetic crystal of orange color imitating a ripe apple), and a sheaf of rye, symbols of the Savior of the Honey, Apple, and Bread Feast Days; in the left-hand and the right-hand parts — the relief elements of Belarusian national ornament; beneath — a circumferential inscription: СПАСЫ (SPASY).
